Online & Automated Telephone Payment – Terms & Conditions
By using Solaris Law’s online and automated phone services you are confirming these Terms & Conditions.
- By making payment, you accept these terms. If you do not accept the terms, do not use the services.
- Your payment will be subject to clearance and will normally be allocated to your account within two working days.
- By making a payment, you are confirming it to be affordable.
- All payments made via this service are only accepted in reduction of the outstanding balance and not as settlement unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
- We do not accept liability for payments made against the wrong account or the wrong amount. We will endeavour to resolve issues if they arise.
- If payment is declined, we are not made aware of the reason and therefore cannot advise you why. You should contact us to arrange an alternative payment method.
- We reserve the right to contact the cardholder to identify the source of funds.
- Any monies received by us resulting in overpayment, or due to an oversight by us, will be refunded (in full or in part, as applicable), to the account from which it originated from.
- You may request a payment receipt by email or SMS when using the service, and this will be sent immediately after the payment is successfully taken.
- Data provided during payment transaction is securely held by our payment provider under the terms of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and in accordance with the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and will only be used for the purpose of recording your payment and for accounting processes.
- Should the services be unavailable, you should contact us to arrange an alternative payment method.
